Please accept our deepest condolences for your family’s loss.
My family lived next to Thurman and Louise on East Duke Circle until hurricane Floyd flooded their homes. Even though Thurman was my parents age we had a special relationship that was more like peers. We would spend hours discussing philosophy, religion, world situations, Constantly exchanging books and reading materials, he was a mentor and a great friend. I will miss him but he would be the first to remind me that he is now in a better place than me.
