Sallie Jeanette Padgett Eason

ROCKY MOUNT - Sallie Jeanette Padgett Eason, age 83, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2020. Born in Jamesville, NC on October 18, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Dillon Padgett and Sallie Padgett. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Gordan Eason; step-father, Delwood Jackson; brothers, Thurman Jackson and Eugene "Buddy" Jackson; and her twin sister, Sarah Pierce. Sallie was a member of Mt. Herman Missionary Baptist Church. Sallie leaves behind to cherish her memory, step-daughter, Brenda McRoy, of Rocky Mount; sisters, Mollie Harrison of Roper, Emma Allan of Washington, Elsie Pierce of Windsor; and several nieces and nephews. A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Rocky Mount Memorial Park with Pastor Justin Nale officiating.
