SHARPSBURG – Judith Michelle “Shelly” Robbins, age 64, passed away on Friday, March 10, 2023. Born in Nash County, NC on December 6, 1958, she was the daughter of the late Harvey Linwood Taylor and Judith Ann Best Taylor.
Shelly was a humble and devoted Christian and a member of Gospel Missionary Baptist Church. She was the bookkeeper and caretaker for the family and farm for many years. Shelly was a devoted and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
Shelly is survived by her husband of 44 years, Robert “Dena” Robbins of the home; her sons, Patrick Robbins and wife, Marsha, of Sharpsburg and Steven Robbins and wife, Heather, of Sharpsburg; her grandchildren, Garland Robbins, Hollie Robbins, and Gatlin Robbins all of Sharpsburg; her brother, Harvey “Artie” Taylor, of Enterprise, FL; her aunts, Joyce Brown of Sharpsburg, Barbara Smith of Winterpark, FL, and Sylvia Boswell of Florence, SC; and several cousins.
A Funeral Service to celebrate Shelly’s life will be held on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Pastor Allen Mills officiating. Burial will follow the service at Mill Branch Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM prior to the service in the Atrium of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Shelly’s memory to the care and Neuroblastoma treatment of her great niece, Charlotte Barry, #CharlotteStrong, c/o Megan Tyler-Barry, 247 Lyman Road, Beulaville, NC 28518.

I am so sorry to hear that Shelly had passed away. God Bless each one of you that has pain at this time. I remember telling her mother Judy that Shelly had the prettiest skin. That she could have been a model for Dove. That’s how I will always remember her. She was so pretty.
