SPRING HOPE - Joseph Dwight Finch, age 74, passed away on Friday, October 12, 2018. Born in Nash County, NC on May 2, 1944, he was the son of the late Lester Finch and Alma Morgan Finch.
Joseph was a proud Veteran who served as a medic in the Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from Hubbell Power Systems in Rocky Mount as an instrument fitter. He touched many lives in his lifetime and will be missed tremendously but never be forgotten.
Joseph leaves behind to cherish his memory, siblings, Ruth Morgan, Lester Finch (Peggy), Doreen Manning (Willis), Lewis Finch (Ann), Walter Finch (Shirley); and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Joseph's Life will be held on Monday, October 15, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Visitation with the family will be from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM prior to the service in the Atrium of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, 4200 Morganton Road, #300, Fayetteville, NC 28314.
