Zenobia Sonia Sadowski, age 69, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2019. Born in Chorzow, Poland on September 7, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Marian and Elzbieta Sosniak.
Sonia was a dedicated nurse for over 20 years with Nash General Hospital.
Sonia leaves behind to cherish her memory, husband of 40 years, Krzysztof Sadowski.
A Celebration of Sonia's Life will be held on Sunday, May 19, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Visitation will follow the service in the Atrium of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home until 3:30 PM.

Chris, I am so sorry to hear about Sonia’s passing. I worked with her many years. I haven’t lived in Rocky Mount for 12 years, so I didn’t know she was sick and haven’t seen her in a few years. But I enjoyed working with her. She will be missed.
My condolences to the husband, family and friends. I only knew Zenobia for a short amount of time but she touched my life far more than anyone knows. She was and is a true angel. She will be greatly missed.

I used to work w Sonia in icu at Nash healthcare I was a monitor tech. Sonia was a great RN she had great attitude and a lot of spunk. I’m sorry for ur loss. God bless her husband and family

I am so sad to hear Sonia passed away . I wish we had stayed in contact after I moved away . But I will never forget her and Kris . My thoughts and prayers go out to her loving husband and her family and friends .

Chris, So sorry to hear about Sonia’s passing. I enjoyed working with her for many years in the ICU at Nash. She was an excellent nurse with quiet strength and will be missed.
