  1. Tom was a Rocky Mount notable, from his daily walks around town, his regular post office and library visits, his museum, cafe and restaurant support, he was at home in this city. Never a Veterans or a Memorial Day celebration did he miss. Never a bud or flower, insect or four-legged critter did he pass without notice. And his passing WILL be noticed with respect and sadness.

  4. Tom was my friend for many years. We worked together at Thomas & Howard and had several things in common like our love for cats! I used to bring my cat to work on Saturdays (management wasn’t there) and Tom would walk around with her on his shoulder. She loved it and so did he. Tome was one of the most intelligent people I knew. I will miss his phone calls.
