Please accept our deepest condolences for your family’s loss.
I had the honor of knowing Tami the eight years my family served at Englewood Baptist Church. No matter how hard life got for her, in her illness, she always had a smile on her face. I would always see her being concerned about others even when she seemed at her lowest. She loved Jesus and was a very humble woman.
Tami was a beautiful person who was a testimony to all who knew her. She facilitated a bible study on prayer that I participated in and that’s how I came to know Tami better..that was 1995. She was a loving, bright, courageous lady who set an awesome example of trusting the Lord no matter her circumstances and challenges. She encouraged me many times over the years and although I doubt she knew it, God sent her to me when I needed it the most. I will miss her.
I had the honor of serving with Tami while I was on staff and Englewood Baptist Church from 2001-2005. She was an encouragement to me every time we had an opportunity to talk. Her positive attitude and joyful spirit would always make me smile. Tami fulfilled the greatest two commandments she loved God with all her heart, soul, mind, & body and she loved people. I am grateful I had an opportunity to be a part of her life. I am a better person because of her.
For Tami’s family Tim & I have your entire family in our thoughts and prayers. We never had the pleasure of meeting you but we feel as though we know you through Katie. She always spoke so fondly of you and we could tell how much she loved you and how close you were. You were not only mother, daughter but had evolved into best friends. Our son, Ryan thought so much of you and your family and our hearts are broken for your loss. May God wrap his arms around you in this time of need to comfort you.
I had the pleasure of working with Tami when she was a special ed teacher. We always had lots of fun and plenty of laughs when I visited her class! We are so sorry to hear about her passing and I just wanted you to know that I will remember her fondly. We are all thinking of you. Pat, Nick, and Gus Demilio
Gene, Kate & Dillon, Living so far away from ya’ll, we didn’t get to see you very often, but the times we were in your home, Tami was a wonderful hostess and made us feel so welcome. She was a wonderful person and we will miss her. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Love, Uncle Leon & Aunt Martha
GENE, KATE, AND DILLON, WE JUST WANT Y’ALL TO KNOW THAT WE’RE THINKING OF YOU AND PRAYING FOR YOU DURING THIS DIFFICULT TIME. WE WISH THAT THERE WAS SOMETHING THAT WE COULD SAY TO HELP EASE THE PAIN. WE’RE SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS AND WE LOVE Y’ALL. AUNT FRANCES, UNCLE HERSHEL, ROGER AND JILL
I was so blessed to know Tami from as long as I can remember. Growing up, she was always my idol; someone I wanted to be like. Over the years, she was my cheerleader; someone who encouraged me and made me stop and count my blessings. Tami always saw the good in everyone and had a gift of making you feel special no matter what. I know that she is has made Heaven a brighter place, but I miss her. I miss her understanding, her encouragement and her strength. Watch over us Tami!
To the ProctorBoone Families I am greatly saddened to just hear this news today. I have known Tami since we were young girls in Dr. Powers’ class at East Carolina University. I am honored to have attended school, worked with and served Our Lord alongside Tami for 25+ years. May you find comfort in your memories and strength in Our Lord. Know that you are in my prayers! Debbie
