Susan Adams Leggett

Frances Susan Adams Leggett, 59, went home to Heaven on Thursday, July 22, 2010. She was born February 27, 1951 in Greenville, Georgia. Susan was a registered nurse and worked many years in the community of Rocky Mount and the surrounding area. On August 4, 1985, she married Elliott Thomas Leggett. She loved her family and her most precious memories were when her grandchildren were born. She was an active member of Peoples Fellowship Baptist Church. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband of 25 years, Elliott; son, Gene Ray Davidson, Jr. and wife Marcie; grandchildren, Caleb S. Davidson, Hannah L. Davidson, Micaiah R. Davidson and Lydia L. Davidson. She is further survived by a sister, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends and relatives from 7-8:30p.m. Saturday, July 24, 2010 at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home. Her son, Chaplain Ray Davidson, Jr. and Rev. Dave Grogan will lead a service to celebrate her life at 2:00p.m. Sunday, July 25, 2010 in the funeral home chapel. Entombment will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
