Stuart Brent Gray

Stuart Brent Gray, Jr. was called to rest on July 6, 2010 at the age of 46. Brent was born in Elizabeth City, NC and resided in Rocky Mount, NC. Known amongst his peers as "Grip." Brent was a local sign crafter who enjoyed playing "billiards," an occasional game of golf, cooking on the grill, and watching sports. He was most often seen dressed to support his favorite athletic teams which included UNC, Miami Hurricanes, Washington Redskins, and New York Yankees and enjoyed music by U2 and Boz Scaggs. He leaves behind to cherish his loving memory parents, Brent and Sheila Gray; daughters Adriann Gray, Ashley Gray, and Kamdyn Strickland; son Tate Faulkner; wife Shelly Gray; sister Denise Jenkins; brother-in-law Joey; niece Kylie, and was adored as "Uncle Brent" by Jordan Lane. Arrangements at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home include visitation on Thursday, July 8, 2010 from 6-8:00 p.m. and funeral on Friday, July 9, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. The family requests a private burial at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
