Stephen Washington Ezzell

Rocky Mount- Stephen Washington Ezzell, Sr. 83 passed away Thursday, March 17, 2011. He was born in Nash County, July 13, 1927 to the late Josh and Mittie Jones Ezzell. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and owned his own home improvement business. Stephen was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Lorraine Ezzell and sons, Dennis Wayne Ezzell and George Keith Ezzell. He is survived by his sons, Stephen Washington Ezzell, Jr. and wife, Wendy of Wilson, Philip Terry Ezzell and wife, Diane of Monroe; six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. A service to celebrate the life of Stephen Washington Ezzell, Sr. will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at Wheeler Woodlief Funeral Home with Daniel Bannister officiating.
