  6. I want to send my deepest sympathy to the family of Spruill Gilmore Bunn. The bible tells us we can gain comfort from God, even during times of sorrow. We pray to our heavenly father for help to cope with the sorrow felt from the death of a loved one. May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and gave everlasting comfort and good hope by means of undeserved kindness, comfort your hearts and make you firm.-2 Thess. 216, 17. May you find comfort by relying on our heavenly father and learning more about the blessings of God’s kingdom. Local ministry volunteer

  7. Betty, Kim, Brent and family, it is with true heartfelt sorrow to hear of Spruill’s passing. He was without a doubt one of the kindness, most sincere men I’ve ever known. He did indeed live by the Golden Rule. I had the honor and privilege of working with him for several years at Boddie-Noell and learned so much from him. He had a wealth of knowledge he was willing to share if you were willing to listen and learn. I’m so thankful I did. His love of his family was obvious every time he spoke about any of you. His eyes lit up with love and pride. Spruill was more than my boss, he was also a dear friend. Al enjoyed sharing breakfast and stories with him over the years. We will both miss him. Keeping you all close in prayer. Teresa and Al Bullard

  8. Brent, Sarah, Coleman, and Chris Our family is so very sorry to hear of your loss. We met your Grandfather once, and we were touched to know that he was so proud of his Grandsons. Your entire family is in our prayers today. Godspeed, and safe travels home. Peace in the Lord, always. JP, Donna, and Bill

  9. Betty and family, George and I send our deepest sympathy….. our thoughts and prayers are with all of you! George and Stephanie Ramey

  10. Spruill was the real thing. No pretense, no put-on, a fine, honest guy giving his all everyday. His smile was infectious, and his friendship was real. I am glad I knew him. Tom Betts
