Siham Wahdan Hamad Siham Wahdan Hamad, 63, of Rocky Mount, died Saturday, July 3, 2010. Siham was born in Jordan on July 4, 1946, the daughter of Muhammed Wahdan and Tamam Wahdan Abdul-Jaber. She moved to the United States as a teenager and married Farouk Hamad. Siham enjoyed cosmetology and for over 40 years, owned Sihams Hair Boutique in Rocky Mount. An accomplished stylist, she won numerous local, state, and even national awards for her styling talents. She placed 3rd overall in a national best beautician contest, 2nd best in a statewide competition for best mens haircut, and was voted “Best of the Best” in both stylist and salon catagories by the readers of the Rocky Mount Evening Telegram. Siham also enjoyed reading and travelling, but most of all she enjoyed people, especially her family. She is survived by her husband; two sons, Addle (Hunaida) Hamad of Frederick, MD, and Maher (Sharon) Hamad of Manassas, VA; two daughters, Sabah (Michael) Hamad Malik of Cary, NC, and Suhare (Yasin) Hamad of Rocky Mount. She is further survived by a brother, Hassan; two sisters, Sumaya and Sameeya; 14 grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends. Services were held Sunday, July 4, 2010, with interment at Pineview Cemetery, Rocky Mount. Arrangements by Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home, 1130 N. Winstead Ave., Rocky Mount, NC .   1. I would like to send my deepest sympathy to each of you and especially Suhare and Farouk. Siham was my hairdresser for so many years I can not remember when I first started going to her. Each visit to the shop was such a pleasure and a privilege to get caught up on our families. She and I had many laughs about my daughter’s Turkish motherinlaw. I really miss her but Suhare is going a good job of carrying on her mother’s tradition. Frances Eilers Constans
