  1. Robespierre, Roberta (you always hated that name but it was my favorite sorry not sorry), Rob. I love you. We got through some dark and funny times together. We were just beginning to grow into ourselves, into a more light and eased condition. I’ll miss the proverbial. Having you lost in the woods with me. Sharing our playfully sardonic chip on our occasionally conjoined shoulder. But I was also so proud of progress and so happy to see you thriving as a beloved townie ;p You will forever be missed and loved. Were the same sorta dork, ya know. My deep condolences and sincere apologies to your family and loved ones.

  2. Rob will always be our Joey’s adorable first best friend. I remember how they bonded immediately over dinosaurs and Ninja Turtles. Peggy, Robert, Kathleen, and Erin we are all heartbroken over your loss of this young man. Please accept our deepest condolences. Hugs and prayers from Virginia. The Kovac’s (Pat, Joe, Kim, Joey)

  3. Rob was a good friend. I worked with Rob at Bruegger’s in Asheville. We became friends easily. He had an accepting way of listening. Talking to Rob I felt understood. The type of friend you could commiserate with. The type of friend who would remember that thing you mentioned that one time and use it later to give you a recommendation for something you might enjoy. The type of friend who would still include me and invite me places despite my poor efforts at staying in touch. At work, I liked to joke around by using slightly out-of-fashion slang terms. I would sometimes say wicked and I can remember Rob putting an accent on and saying wicked cold. I remember listening to an Ahmad Jamal record at a Labor Day party he threw. I remember Rob as my friend who made me feel valued and accepted.
