Sharpsburg- Robert Lee West, 65, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2013. He was born in Petersburg, VA, September 8, 1948, son of the late Benjamin West and Mildred Carter West. He was also preceded in death by a baby son, Jeffrey.
He leaves those to cherish his memory, wife Kathy Pike West of 48 years, five daughters, one son, thirteen grandchildren seven great-grandchildren, one brother and one sister.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 - 8:30 pm, Friday, November 15, 2013 at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held 10:00 am, Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Wheeler and Woodlief Chapel with Rev. Ruben Batchelor officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Family of Robert Lee West.

I’m blessed to have this man accept me in his house when I was a stranger. We had good conversations about anything and I always enjoyed his company whenever I would visit.
