Richard Martin Frank

Richard Martin Frank, age 62, passed away Monday, April 01, 2013. Born in Dayton, Ohio on April 07, 1950, he was the son of the late Charles N. Frank and Margarite Faye Coffey Frank. He was an Information and Support Specialist with IBM. Richard served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam era. Continuing his love of flying after the service, he received his single and twin engine license. A true family man, Richard loved spending time with those he loved. He leaves behind his wife of 42 years, Gail Spears Frank; son, Sean Frank and wife Jenny of Sanford; grandchildren, Brennen Frank, Carter Frank and Sophia Frank, all of Sanford; sister, Julia Croft of Sebring, FL; and nephews, Jehu Croft and Joshua Croft, both of Sebring, FL. The family will receive friends and relatives 7:00pm to 8:30pm Friday, April 05, 2013 at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home. A service to remember Richard will be 11:00am Saturday morning in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Chet Rains officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
