Rhoda Mae always greeted me by saying Hello, pretty girl. She made me feel special. Years later, I realized she greeted everyone by Hello, pretty girl. She made everyone feel special. As much as she enjoyed travelling, I hope in her next life that she travels to all the neat places she dreamed about. I can see her riding elephants in India, sipping tea in some exotic place, or strolling in the mist in London. I’ll always have good memories of Rhoda Mae.

Ms. Bone was indeed a great teacher and a family friend. She was an exceptionally great person to know. Linda Hurdle
When I was about 8yrs. old my family and Rhoda Mae were neighbors. I remember her brother, Lincoln, always talking on his ham radio to people all over the world. She really liked to travel! I will always remember while waiting for the ferry to go to Williamsburg,Va who did we see waiting a few cars back but Rhoda Mae!! I know now she is traveling the streets of gold in heaven and celebrating with her family.
Ms. Bone was a great teacher,I was very blesssed to have been her student. No matter where I saw her after graduation, she always spoke to me. I will see her again at the pearly gates in heaven. My prayers are with the family.

Rhoda Mae was a very dear friend of our family, especially my mom. The two of them taught at the same school for many years. We will always remember her beautiful smile and contagious laugh. She enjoyed many things during her lifetime to include traveling, reading a good book, learning new things, working in her yard, and feeding her birds. She was very talented and creative in the projects she pursued. Rhoda always made us feel special and was so interested in what we were doing. We will miss her but will always hold our memories of her close at heart. Donna Barkley and Steve Lagna San Jose, CA
