Randal "Randy" Dale Williams

LOUISBURG – Randal “Randy” Dale Williams, age 68, passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2025.  Born in Nash County, NC on May 23, 1956, he was the son of the late Benjamin Dale Williams and Elizabeth Ann “Lib” Walker Williams.

Randy was a lifelong fan of NC State University.  He attended NC State during his college years, always proud to be part of the Wolfpack.  Known for his lighthearted spirit, Randy loved to make others smile and never missed a chance to share a good joke.  A devoted member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Raleigh, Randy served faithfully for many years, sharing his love for music by singing in the church choir alongside his beloved mother, Lib.

Randy is survived by his daughter, Aubrey Ann Williams Schmechel and husband, Mykal; his granddaughter, Anna May Nabbefeld; and his many cousins.

A Graveside Service to celebrate Randy’s life will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Pineview Cemetery with Pastor Josh Scally officiating.  Visitation with the family will follow the service at the graveside.
