Elm City – Patrick “Logan” Roberson, age 36, passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2025.  Born in Nash County, NC on February 25, 1989, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Chris Chafin, his maternal grandparents, James Horace Jefferson and Peggy Jefferson Moore Hill and his paternal grandparents, Herman Brinkley Roberson and Mae Lancaster Roberson.

A good, kindhearted and caring man, Logan was a graduate of Southern Nash High School.  He grew up playing sports, watching his favorite teams play, and enjoyed fishing.  Logan loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his daughter whom his world revolved around.  A loving and devoted father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, and good friend to many, Logan will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

Logan is survived by his daughter, Natalie Roberson; his parents, Phyllis Jefferson Chafin and James Irvin “Jimmy” Roberson; his brothers, Wesley Roberson and Matthew Roberson; his step sisters, Ashley Facer (Ryan) and Alex Chafin; his nieces, LeAnn Roberson and Avery Roberson; his aunts and uncles, Lynne Jefferson Felton (Graham), Pat Jefferson Bass (Wes), Leigh Jefferson Compton (Walter), Gini Jefferson Winstead (Gerald), Brink Roberson (Morrye), Becky Roberson Murray (Ernie); Jerry Roberson (Debbie), Linda Roberson Inscoe (Frank), and Steve Roberson (Todd); and many cousins, extended family members, and good friends.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Logan’s life will be held on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1130 N. Winstead Ave., Rocky Mount, NC 27804, with Rev. Steve Webb officiating.  Visitation with the family will be from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM prior to the service in the Atrium of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Logan’s memory to Greenville Comprehensive Treatment Center, 622 S. Memorial Drive, Greenville, NC  27834.
