To the Erich Family I was so sorry to hear of Mrs. Erich’s passing. She was such a loving and caring person. She touched many lives through her many years of teaching. My 2 children were so fortunate to be her students while she was at NEW Christian Academy. She touched their lives in a very special way. Take comfort in all the special memories of her that everyone has that she has touched in a very special way. Jeanette Edwards

To Norma’s Family, I taught across the hall from Norma for two years at NEW Academy. She was such a sweet lady and a dear, dear, friend to me…always uplifting and helpful. I was so sorry to learn of her illness and spoke with her by telephone recently. She will be missed by many people who loved her. I pray that God will comfort each of you during this difficult time and may your ‘precious memories’ of Norma give you added strength and comfort. Please accept my condolences. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Elizabeth Roebuck
To Norma’s Family, If there was ever an angel on earth, it was Norma. I will cherish the memories I have from teaching with her at Bailey Elementary School. The picture posted here is the way I want to remember her, with that mischievous glint in her eye. She was a dear friend to me and I will miss her sorely, but I am happy for her to be without pain and to finally be reunited with Jason. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Martha Bailey

I am very sorry to hear of Norma’s passing. Many years have gone by since I last saw her and Fred, but I remember them well as very kind and fun people. Norma always had a wonderful and happy attitude. She was kind to everyone and would help them however she could. I particularly remember how she and Fred gave their time to serve as our chaperones at our junior year post prom camp party in 1968. They interacted with all of us making that all night event fun and enjoyable. She will be missed.
Our thoughts and prayers are with your family, she was a very special person. Don and Kathy Bowser and family
To Norma’s family ~ I first met Norma when she came to NEW. She quickly became a friend. It was evident that she loved teaching her students, but it was also evident that she loved all of those around her. I was delighted and surprised when she arrived at Bailey Elementary where I had also moved to. We quickly rekindled our friendship. Even though I moved on to another school, I still considered Norma to be a friend. I was saddened to learn of her passing. She was a very amazing and talented person, full of love and joy. May you be comforted in the days ahead just knowing of the many good things Norma did during her life. Louise Braswell
