ROCKY MOUNT - Montrea Anton Worsley, age 39, passed away on Friday, July 23, 2021. Montrea was born in Nash County, NC on October 13, 1981. Montrea was a wonderful Chef. He attended Rise Church - Rocky Mount Campus. Montrea loved his dog, Kane, which he called Candy Kane. He enjoyed rapping and writing his own rap lyrics. Montrea had a collection of hats and would never leave home without one of his favorite hats on. He had a contagious personality with the most beautiful smile. Montrea is survived by his wife, Shandi Jo Howell Worsley of Rocky Mount; his father, Levon Earl Worsley of Whitakers; his mother, Katherine White Draughan (Clarence) of Rocky Mount; his maternal grandmother, Dottie Bell White; his children, D'Antrea Worsley, JaKolby Worsley, Destiny Worsley, Aiden Worsley, Tyler Worsley, Samuel Baker, and Alyssa Taylor; his brother, Demetric Worsley; his sister, LaVonta' "Rug" Worsley; his father-in-law, Glenn Howell (Renee); and his mother-in-law, Rhonda Radford. A Funeral Service to celebrate Montrea's life will be held on Monday, August 2, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Rise Church - Rocky Mount Campus, 3520 Bishop Road, Rocky Mount with Pastor Glenn Howell officiating. Burial will follow the service at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. A visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM prior to the service in the Sanctuary.   16. Levon & Katherine I am so sadden to learn of your loss. I recall when Montrea was a baby. We all would be riding in the 78 Pontiac you all had. Montrea would be beside me in the back seat. He would always share his snack with me. Once all his snack had been eaten he would look over at me like now where are your snacks with a big smile on his face. It’s memories like such that will help you thru the days to come. Keep Praying and Keep the Faith. I Love You All !!! Take your rest young brother our paths will cross again some day.
