Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Annette was a sweet lady and I’m proud to have been her cousin. Although our paths hadn’t physically crossed in the past few years, we shared memories and laughter over the telephone several times in the last 5-10 years. Her laughter was so warm and her smile lit her whole face. We tried to get together while I was living in NC, but the timing was never right. Annette had her mother’s love for singing and her father’s tender heart. Many of my favorite childhood memories of the Hodkinson family New Years Day celebrations are of Annette’s beautiful personality and her joy for life. She always took time to care about others. I will miss her greatly. My prayers are with her and her two sons, Wayne and Randy, and their families. Celebrate the blessing of sharing life’s joys with Annette in her full and beautiful life. She is with God now but her memories are ours forever. Love, Lorraine (Hodkinson) Blancke

  2. Mom was quite a lady! I am most indebted to her for giving birth to and raising the love of my life, Janet. I also appreciate her not running me off when I started pursuing her baby daughter! I had the privilege of having been married to Jan for almost 33 years, and having known Mom for about 37 years. She had a great smile and a good heart. She sang in the Bruen Chapel choir for many years, and was involved in the church in a variety of ways, as was Popsie. They were very supportive of Janet and I and our kids, from giving us an old upright piano (remember that, Wayne) for a wedding gift, to furniture and so much more. Even more precious was the giving of themselves as our family grew, and we moved around the country. I will indeed miss her special spirit, constantly offering at meals, what can I get you to replying I’m doing the best I can to inquiries about her wellbeing. Mom, I hope you and Jan are having a great time singing praises to the Lord together! Thanks for the many fond memories, and thanks for your love! Thanks to Randy and Linda and Wayne and Peggy and the rest of the family for adopting me, too. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Don Eisenberg PS- No, I don’t remember where I put that stuff in the basement of your lake house after the move- sorry!
