  1. We love you Melvin very much! He married my grandma Gladys Crank Leggett! He is very dear to our hearts and was one of the most sweetest, caring, loving person that we ever knew! He was loved by so many people! Rip Melvin Leggett! We love you and miss you so much! I know that we will see you again someday! Love the Willey Family!

  2. Mr. Leggett was a very kind and sweet person. Always enjoyed talking with him at church. Will miss him for sure but I know I will see him one day in heaven. Gladys Crank was a life long friend of mine from the coast. She and her first husband lived in the Waterside Trailer Park at Atlantic Beach along with their sons, Jesse and Billy. When she married Mr. Leggett she seemed to think it was ironic to marry someone from Rocky Mount (where I live). My love goes out to all the family! ~ Margaret Wells Cobb
