Mary Koontz Buck

Mary K. Buck, 88, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, July 12, 2011. Mary was born in High Point NC on March 04, 1923. She was preceded in death by her parents, Burtis and Ethel Koonts; her husband, E.A. Buck; her baby girl, Susan; two brothers; and one sister. Mary is survived by her children, Glenda Schwartz and husband Jim of Ohio, Debra Stalnaker and husband Fred of Kernersville NC and Billy Buck and wife Kathy of Nashville NC; grandchildren, Jennifer Milam and husband Justin, Cindy Schwartz, Laura Schwartz, Bethany Thomas and husband Alex, and Heather Bailey and husband Tom: and great-grandchildren, Jasmine Milam, Justin Milam, Brayden Thomas, Tommy Bailey, Justin Bailey, and Abigail Bailey. She will also be remembered by her sister, Betty Hunt and husband Arnold; her best friend, Lila Croom; and a host of nieces and nephews. Mary had been an active member of Swelton Heights and Parkwood Baptist Church since 1953. The family will receive friends and relatives 5:00pm to 6:30pm Friday, July 15, 2011 at Parkwood Baptist Church. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 6:30pm with Rev. Mark Pridgen and Alan Whitley officiating. On Saturday, July 16, 2011 at 11:00am, there will be a graveside service at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
