Martin T. Strickland

Martin T. Strickland December 11, 2009 Martin T. Strickland, 57, passed away Friday, December 11, 2009. Martin was a lifelong resident of Rocky Mount and was the son of Earnie L. Strickland and the late Martha Collins Strickland. He was preceded in death by his brother, Earnie L. Strickland Jr., also of Rocky Mount. Survivors include his wife, Reginia Langley Strickland of the home, nephew and wife, Stephen R. Strickland and Brooke of Raleigh, and step-daughter, Angela Bryant of Nashville. In over 25 years with various companies within the optical industry, Martin formed many friendships throughout the US. He will be missed by customers, co-workers, and employees alike. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM on Monday, December 14, 2009 at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home with Lance Peck officiating. Visitation with the family will follow the service.
