Marjorie Jaunita Warren

ROCKY MOUNT - Marjorie Jaunita (Nita) Warren left this life on December 2, 2010, after a battle with cancer. She was born in Pontotoc County, Mississippi on July 6, 1935, as the youngest of thirteen children of Margaret Alice and Samuel Walter Denton. She is survived by her daughter Debra Chamberlain and husband Phillip of Rocky Mount, son Sanford Warren and wife Brenda and grandchildren Benjamin, Nicholas, Jonathan and Rebecca of Southlake, TX; granddaughter, Stacey Barbee and husband Frank and great-grandsons, Trey and Lane of Raleigh, NC. Marjorie moved to Rocky Mount in 1993 to be near her daughter and granddaughter. "Nana" enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, cooking and being with her family. A celebration of her life will be held at Wheeler Woodlief Funeral Home in Rocky Mount, 7:00 pm Sunday, December 5, 2010. The family will receive relatives and friends following the service.
