Margaret Lancaster Bulluck

July 20, 1943 ~ February 16, 2022

BATTLEBORO - Margaret Lancaster Bulluck, age 78, passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2022. Born in Nash County, NC on July 20, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Roy Clinton Lancaster and Mattie Green Lancaster. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Jerry P. Bulluck, Sr.; and her sister, Mary Louise "Lucy" Harper. Margaret was a graduate of North Edgecombe High School. It was in high school where she met and later married the love of her life, Jerry Bulluck. They were devoted to each other and together they raised three children and five grandchildren. Margaret was an avid musician and spent much of her adult life playing the piano, organ and singing. She was in the gospel group The Master Builders for many years. Margaret was part of Jerry Bulluck Construction which started in 1972. She owned and operated Drummonds Florist for over 20 years. Margaret loved to have fun and travel with family and friends. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her. Margaret is survived by her children, Karen Bulluck (Tommy Boykin), Kimberly Krueger, and J.P. Bulluck (Karen); her grandchildren, Jeremy Bulluck, Jonathan Bulluck, Kayla Bulluck, Cameron Krueger, and Karsyn Krueger; her canine companion, Snowball; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. A Visitation to celebrate Margaret's life will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the Atrium of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Rev. Joe Price officiating. A Private Family Graveside Service to celebrate Margaret's life will be held at Battleboro Cemetery with Rev. Joe Price officiating.   4. Karen, Kimberly and JP…..I am so sorry for your loss. I’m so glad I had the chance to come by to see Margaret a couple times in recent years when I was home. We shared some treasured memories of us living across the street, and she was always so interested in my life away from Battleboro and always asked about our Mom…..Battleboro will always be home, and people there will always be family. ❤ I have a great picture of Margaret and Jerry taken at my wedding that I will cherish always. Much love to you all, and find comfort that her and your father are together once again!

I will never forget the tender love and heart felt smiles she gave when I was a child. I will miss her. Gone too soon but she will never be forgotten!!! My sister Phyllis Pridgen Farmer and I worked with Mrs. Margaret during the days when we owned Memory Makers Video back in the 90s. Together with her we created your family video of memories and we also attended and did a videotape of Karen’s wedding. We came to know your mother and you all back in those glory days. We were so sorry to learn of her recent passing and are praying for strength and comfort for you all during this time.
