Mable Crickmore Sloan

Mable Anne Crickmore Senner Sloan, age 102, passed away on December 18, 2014. She was born on October 20, 1912 to William Alex and Patty Harper Crickmore. Mable was preceded in death by her first husband, Chester Senner; second husband, Stanley Sloan; brothers, Randolph, William, Frank, Francis and Mack Crickmore; and one sister, Mildred. Mable is survived by one sister, Nell Crickmore of Raleigh, NC. Other surviving relatives include one nephew, Jimmie Crickmore and wife, Linda; nieces, Linda Journigan and husband, Richard; Joan Lisende and husband, George; Hilda Pierce and husband, Henry; Pattie Collins and husband, Jeffrey; Maxie McGlohon and husband, David and many great nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Monday, December 22, 2014 at 11:00am at Battleboro Cemetery with Reverend Todd Allen officiating, where family and friends are welcome. The family will greet friends and family immediately following the service. Flowers are welcome or memorials can be made to Community Hospice of Rocky Mount, Post Office Box 8109, Rocky Mount, NC 27804. The family expresses a special thanks to Brekenridge Retirement Home where Mable spent the past eight years. Also a special thank you to Community Hospice for their care.
