Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I am so thankful to have known such a wonderful Christian man. Many Sundays growing up I would go home from chuch with his daugher, Deborah and spend the day. She and I were best of friends. Mr. Smith would always have kind words to say and just was such a joy to be around him. My prayers go out to all of the family. May the Lord be with you in your time of loss.

  2. Dear Friends I know that you were saddened by the death of Luther. He wil be greatly missed by you and his many friends. Though sympathy is small consolation, even when it comes from the hearts of those who share your sorrow, I want you to know how keenly your loss is felt by me and others who knew him. It was my privilege to know Luther personally. I had a great deal of respect for him and greatly appreciated his friendship. Although there is little that I can do or say to help you in this time of grief, please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. Sincerely, Frederick Turnage

  3. I am very sorry for your loss. Although I did not know Luther, I know how it feels to lose someone you love and for that reason I want to express my sympathy and share a few words of encouragement. Psalm 3418 says that God cares when we are broken at heart and he is there for us when our spirit is crushed. Isaiah 258 mentions a time when He will swallow up death forever and wipe all the tears from our faces. It is my wish you will find comfort and hope from these thoughts.

  4. To the Smith daughters. Both your parents were extraordinary people. I have fond memories of both of them. Wayne Mercer
