Our thoughts and prayers are with the Jones family especially Brenda and George Howell. I will always cherish my memories of Lois and all of the special things she did for all of us who attended Griffin’s Grammar School whether it was a hay ride, a class party or the fun Halloween events. I will also always remember her devotion to Philadelphia Baptist Church where she spent countless hours attending meetings and making certain that all the church flowers were looked after and that fresh flowers were in the sanctuary. Who could ever forget the first beautiful poinsettia tree at Philadelphia that Lois helped create. I can’t remember any special event at the church without Lois and all the special dinners and suppers. Who could ever forget her wonderful cooking. She will forever be very special to all of us. Thanks for all the wonderful memories as I grew up. Carol Cooper Pelt
