In memory of Linda Tompkins Skojec, Friends at Carolina Egg Company lit a candle
I remember when I first met Linda, she had a smile on her face; as she always had when I saw her at my place of work or in the store. Linda always took time to catch up a bit when we visited. We loved the cookies or donuts Linda brought out to Carolina Egg, sometimes she would make a special trip out just to check on everyone in our Office. Linda was a special lady and will always be in my heart. My sincerest Condolences to her family and those close to her. May the coming days bring comfort and peace to her family.
MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH THE WHOLE FAMILY AS YOU MOVE THROUGH THIS DIFFICULT TIME. SKIP
Linda was a shining light wherever she went. I loved getting that phone call from her tell me it was cookie day! or doughnut day!. She brought treats to us at Adams Wholesale Company because she loved us and she knew we loved her and always will. Christy and Penny and the rest of the family, you are all in my heart and on my mind. Love to you. Luanne.

My heart goes out to Linda’s family. When we were young, Linda, my sister, Sharon, and I were together often. I think about her sparkle and her creativity. Everyone who knew her will miss her.
Christy, I am so very sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. What a sweet reunion it will be! She was a sweet, beautiful soul, and I am blessed beyond measure to have had the honor to know her. Blessings and peace to you and your family.
During one of her weekly visits to the plant I joked with Linda that our engineers have doughnut radar. You know, minutes after you get here they start migrating up from all over the building and begin circling the break area. Then, when the dough hits the table it’s game on. In a flash, all that confectionary goodness goes Poof, it just evaporates, even before you get out of the parking lot. So what does Linda do The next week she shows up with extra doughnuts. Linda, I was just joking around. But she knew that, I’m sure. This tiny microcosm-five minutes out of one day out of almost 76 wonder-filled years allotted by God to Linda-nicely sums up her character as I knew her; loving, attentive, selfless, happy and funny. Christy, Marty and the EXP crew, my heart goes out to you this morning. May your memories be swift and your grief be short.
So sorry for your loss. Linda was a sweet person!
