Guestbook

  1. Linda was a dear neighbor and friend. I had the privilege of living next to her for over 10 years. During the summer she was always outside cutting grass and working in the yard. She would always throw up her hand with a smile or speak. She loved going with her family on vacations to Myrtle Beach. I am truly sorry to hear of her passing. The world will seem a little dimmer without her smile. Kim Baker

  5. Linda was one of a kind and she will be missed by so many — including her family in South Carolina. Her smile , her laughter, her warm hugs – always making you feel like you were so special, her love of family and her love for God will be part of my memories of her. We might not have been able to make it to visitation, but know our hearts were there. Heaven has gained another angel.. Judy Manning Vaughn

  6. Larry, Jeanna and family, So sorry to hear of Linda’s passing. She was always so much fun to be around. Always remember the good times as she was such a joy to be around. May God Bless you and your family. Mavis Cash (Michelle Ferrell’s Mom)

  7. Linda was such a beautiful example of a Godly woman; she has passed down those deeply held beliefs to her children and grandchildren. Her family was truly blessed to have her and I know they will carry on her legacy. May God comfort them all during this very difficult time. Donna and Steve Gardner

  8. I am very saddened today to hear of the passing of my dear friend Mrs. Linda. In 2002 I was given Linda and Larry’s phone number by Bro Craig Edwards as I told him I was moving from WV to Rocky Mount and needed a good independent fundamental baptist church to attend there. The first time I spoke with Mrs. Linda I knew she loved God. WHAT A TESTIMONY SHE HAD! During our stay in RM the Gupton’s took Tim and I under their wings and made us part of their family and church family. We worshiped God together and shared some very special memories. Mrs. Linda was a woman of great faith and a precious and beautiful person inside and out. I called Mrs. Linda my adopted North Carolina mom and I thank God for allowing me to meet her and for the time that I was able to spend with her and her wonderful family. My prayers are with her family as I know God will comfort them as only he can. Here are some pictures I wanted to share from our trip in 312 to Mt. Airy, NC. We were able to have a wonderful time of christian fellowship together with our families and attend an amazing church service together at Bro Craig and Linda’s Edward’s church. We will see her soon in glory Praise God! Love and prayers, Melissa, Tim, Timothy and Micah Chapman

  9. My sincere condolences to the Gupton family for your loss. Meditating on Jehovah promises in his word the Bible such as one day there bring no more death, and having the hope of seeing our dead loved ones again gives us comfort-Rev 214,5, John 528, 29!

  10. The Absolute best of the best!!! I am so blessed to have known you here as a dear friend and a wonderful second ”MAMA” to my Joe.. We miss you and love you more every day……So many smiles, laughs and wonderful memories of you…….
