Linda Lou Twining Walston

Linda Lou Twining Walston, age 59, went home to Heaven on Wednesday, April 03, 2013. Born in Johnson City, NY on July 15, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Albert Philip Twining Jr. and Barbara Cole Twining. After 20 years of service with Hardee's Restaurant, Linda retired. Linda then joined Osborne Jewelers until her illness prevented her from working. She leaves behind her husband, Darwin Earl Walston; son, Brian S. Jones; grandchildren, Matthew and Sarah Jones; sisters, Terry Twining Pickett and husband Dan of Raleigh NC, and Patricia Twining Bridges and husband Art of Palm Harbor FL; brother, Michael Edward Twining and wife Jan of Raleigh NC; and aunts, Shirley Watson and husband Ray of Vestal NY and Suzanne Palmieri of Fort Lauderdale FL. A gathering of friends will be held from 2:00pm - 6:00pm Saturday, April 6, 2013 at the family home of Darwin and Linda. A service to remember Linda will be held at 4:00pm Sunday afternoon at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home with Rev. Frank Haggard officiating. Visitation with the family will follow the service.
