ROCKY MOUNT - Linda Joyner Edmondson, age 84, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022. Born June 22, 1937, she was the daughter of the late William Lewis Joyner and Eva Mae Giddens Joyner. Linda is survived by her beloved husband, Spencer S. Edmondson, Jr.; her daughter, Sally Edmondson Harris; her brother, William Lewis Joyner, Jr.; her sister, Sara Joyner Pearsall, and four grandchildren who were loved more than any grandchildren have ever been loved, Roney, Spencer, Stella and Ann Price Harris; along with nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. A Private Family Service to celebrate Linda's life will be held at The Church of the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, 231 N. Church Street, Rocky Mount, NC 27804 with Rev. Becky Michelfelder officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Linda's memory to The Church of the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, 231 N. Church Street, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.   1. Bud and family, I am so sorry to hear of Linda’s passing. I worked with her at Benvenue Elementary School for many years. She was an excellent teacher and I enjoyed our many conversations. My condolences.
