Guestbook

  1. Lillian was my treasurer for the Ladies Auxiliary VFW. She was one of the first people I met when I joined and she made me feel so welcome. Her smile and wisdom will be truly missed by all of us. We lost a wonderful soul today. I am so glad I had the Pleasure of knowing her for the few years that I knew her. My thoughts are with her family.

  2. I worked with Mrs. Batts for 1 week at home, she was a very sweet, caring, lady, and she loved the old shows as much I do.She is in heaven and loving every second of it……………

  3. Lillian was also a member of the Halifax County Genealogical Society as long as her health allowed her to attend. She made jelly that was sold at Halifax Library and contributed the proceeds to the Society. We especially enjoyed the many cakes she made and shared with us. Both she and her late husband will be greatly missed, but we will have fond memories of them. Halifax County NC Genealogical Society
