Lee Bryant Faulkner

RED OAK - Lee Bryant Faulkner, 74, passed away Thursday, February 03, 2011. A native of Nash County, he was born July 12, 1936, son of the late Theodore Bryant Faulkner and Annie Leigh Coley Faulkner. He was also preceded by his brother, Walter Hoke Faulkner. Bryant was a longtime farmer and store owner in the Red Oak community. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 43 years, Donna Ramey Faulkner; daughters, Deborah Faulkner Benitez and Leigh Ramey Faulkner; sons, Martin Anthony Faulkner and Clarence Bryant "Bo" Faulkner and wife Cindy, all of Red Oak; grandchildren, Ray and Bryant Benitez, Gabrielle and Adrienne Faulkner, and Brandie Brown. He is also survived by his sister, Ellen Faulkner Moore of Red Oak; and several loving nieces and nephews. A graveside service to remember Bryant will be held at 2:00pm. Sunday, February 06, 2011 at Red Oak Cemetery with Rev. Larry Bostian officiating. Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Saturday evening at the home of Ellen Moore of Red Oak. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Red Oak Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 260, Red Oak NC 27868. Arrangements entrusted to Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home, 1130 N. I have lots of good memories from the Marty and Scott days until Jenna’s time at Red Oak Middle when we frequented Faulkers after school for snacks. Will miss seeing Mr. Faulkner there.   3. we all mis grandpa so much. he was the best grandpa any kid could have asked for. he knew how to really make us grandkids smile. he knew what went where, and why! he could answer most all of our questions.
