Please accept our deepest condolences for your family’s loss.
I am so sorry to hear of his passing. I have great memories of Mr. Davis starting back to the Now Generation Singers which he supported with his heart and soul. He was a great role model for all. I have many memories running in to him when I returned to Rocky Mount for visits, often at resturants with his family. I always enjoyed our chats. My prayers are with his family. He will be missed by all.
Carolyn, You and I were roommates at Louisburg College in 1963-64. I knew your brother, Ken, from his conection to the Vanderbilts in Durham. I do remember your father’s Scouting connection and his enthusiasm for helping others. He surely lived a rich life. Jeannette Dailey Horton – [emailprotected]
thank you for your service to Scouting Mr Davis, you will be mised. RIP.
I am deeply grateful for the lives and example of Mr. and Mrs. Davis whom I knew through the Now Generation Singers in the early 1970’s. They were generous, loving, committed parent figures to so many young people. How lucky we were to have them in our young lives. What a difference they made in the world. Rest well, dear friends. Mr. and Mrs. Davis served our community for so many years. I remember all the trips that Mr. Davis took the Now Generation Singers on so many years ago. It was a huge part of my teen years. I praise God for his life and for the investment he made in me and many of my friends. He gave all he had to so many. He has many rewards awaiting him in heaven! Millie Shields Morris
