Katrina “Kat” Louise Easterday Hultgren

ROCKY MOUNT - Katrina "Kat" Louise Easterday Hultgren, age 58, passed away on Monday, October 25, 2021. Born in Branch County, MI on July 8, 1963, she was the daughter of the late Ronald Leroy Easterday and Patricia June Noblit Easterday. Kat was a dedicated employee at Pfizer, Inc. as a Training Specialist for over 14 years. She was very creative and loved working on projects including stained glass. Kat was a member of many bowling leagues when she lived in Connecticut. She also enjoyed gardening and playing golf with her husband. Kat had a great love for all animals. She was very strong willed and fiercely independent. Kat was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend, and will be truly missed by all who knew her. Kat is survived by her husband of 14 years, Chris Hultgren, Sr.; her children, Justain Michael Pierce of Ansonia, CT, Crystina Marie Pierce of Rocky Mount, Christopher Hultgren of Wilson, and Brittney Lynn Hultgren of Surprise, AZ; her brother, Billy Miller (Briana) of Battle Creek, MI; her sister, Dondra Davis (Chad) of Coldwater, MI; her two nephews and one niece. A Private Celebration of Kat's Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Kat's memory to Friends of Rocky Mount Animals, Inc., PO Box 8766, Rocky Mount, NC 27803 or Susan G.   1. We didn’t know Ms. Hultgren, but we do know her daughter, Crystina. Crystina is a very special lady to us. My husband and I know that her mom, Ms. Hultgren, did a great job raising and loving her into the loving and capable adult she is today.

  2. Katrina had a personality like no other. A great friend with amazing creativity. Determined and hardheaded!! But so much fun to be around. She will be greatly missed. Prayers to Chris and the kids❤️

  4. My deepest condolences. I worked with Kat for 6 years at Pfizer, as her manager. She was a spit-fire. If she didn’t like something, she would tell me. That is what I loved about working with her. She was no-nonsense, tell it like it is. She kept me on my toes. ) It is so sad to hear she is gone. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends. She will be deeply missed.

  7. It sadden my heart deeply that my desr cousin has passed away and my thought and prayers are with them all! Remembering the pan cake turner that Aunt Pat used on our bottom when we got in trouble! RIP Sweet Lady fly high until we see each other again! ❤
