Kathleen Posey Caudle

SPRING HOPE – Kathleen Posey Caudle, age 92, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2026.  Born in Cleveland County, AL on February 28, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Manly Posey and Etta Almeda Ratliff Posey.  She was also preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Raymon Caudle; and her daughter, Ramona Brown.

Kathleen will be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud military spouse whose life was marked by faithfulness to her family.  During her younger years, she traveled extensively alongside her husband, Raymon, as they embraced the unique journey of military life and the many places it led them.  She found great joy in creating a warm and welcoming home, expressing her love through sewing, cooking, and caring for those around her.  Kathleen was known for speaking her mind with honesty and sincerity, a trait that brought both laughter and authenticity to those who knew her best. Above all, she treasured her family, and her steadfast love, strength, and unwavering devotion will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Kathleen is survived by her sons, Jerry Caudle (Jackie Carpenter) of Spring Hope and Kenneth Caudle (Tori Ligon) of Fort Collins, CO; her daughter, Kathy Connelly (Richard) of Fuquay Varina; her grandchildren, Gratia Brown Ashmore, Warren Brown (Vanessa), Allison Brown, Patrick Connelly (Beth), Nathan Connelly, Ansel Ligon, and Aspen Ligon; and her great-grandchildren, Parker Ashmore and Elijah Brown.

A Private Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
