  1. Rick and I are so sorry about the passing of Mrs. Shearin. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. We wish we could be there this weekend, unfortunately we cannot. We will be with you in spirit. Jan and Gaye, our prayers are with you. Love you, Rick and Jenny

  2. Thank you, Mrs. Shearin, for raising two beautiful daughters who have been friends to me in the past. I will be in prayer for your family as I know you will be missed, but you are in no more pain and you are with your Lord right now! Much love to Gaye and Janheart

  3. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family, especially my high school friend Gaye. I’m sorry for your loss. We are all losing a great generation.

  4. We were so lucky to have the Shearin’s as next door neighbors in the early 70’s. With two very young children June and Hugh helped us to began our life in Rocky Mount. We shared many new life experiences as our children grew. Our very able babysitter, Gaye, spent many hours at our house and both children remember her well and fondly. We wish to thank the Shearin children for sharing their Mother and Father and wish good lives to all. Joseph Smathers

  5. Praying for your family during this sad time. I did not have the pleasure of knowing June, she sounds like an amazing woman. Thankful that through Super Flame Gas I have gotten to know her Son-In-Laws and grandson.

  6. Dear Jan, Gaye, & Don & families, My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. I’m sure you don’t remember me but June & Hugh hired me right out of high school to work at Super Flame and she was so kind & smart. I appreciate all she taught me and for their kindness during my employment there until we moved to Kinston in 1965. Have thought of her often. I hope your good memories will help get you through your loss.

  7. On behalf of my father, James F. King Jr. (deceased) and my mother Annie J. King I wish to extend our heartfelt sympathy to the family of June Shearin. Sincerely, Jim King

  8. I want to send my deepest sympathy to the family of June Stallings Shearin. The bible tells us we can gain comfort from God, especially during times of sorrow. We pray to our heavenly father for help to cope with the sorrow felt from the death of a loved one. By prayer and supplication along with thanksgiving, let your petitions be made known to God; and the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus. Philippians 46 May you find comfort by relying on our heavenly father and learning more about the blessings of God’s kingdom. Local ministry volunteer
