Judy was a woman of great faith and a devoted member of the Rocky Mount Seventh-day Adventist Church. She had a passion for gardening and working with flowers and plants, loved fishing, and had a deep affection for animals. The beach was one of her favorite places, where she created cherished memories with her loved ones. Above all, Judy treasured her family, especially her grandchildren, who brought her immense joy. A loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and a dear friend to many, Judy’s kindness and compassion touched countless lives. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Judy is survived by her mother, Jeanette Turner Collie of Rocky Mount; her daughters, Jessica Carol Howell of Rocky Mount and Michelle “Brooke” Viverette and husband, John, of Sharpsburg; her son, Stephen Michael Howell of Rocky Mount; her grandchildren, Landon Michael Howell, Peyton Michelle Cartledge, Lillian Grace Howell, Ian Viverette, Bella Cartledge, Liam Cartledge, Anna Brooke Viverette, Braylon Howell, and Levi Cartledge; her brother, Christopher “Chris” Joel Collie and wife, Kim, of Nashville; her niece, Mackenzie Leigh Collie of Nashville; her nephews, Joseph D.
