Joseph “Jody” Hartwell Fuller

ROCKY MOUNT - Joseph "Jody" Hartwell Fuller, age 48, passed away on Wednesday, August 1, 2018. Born in Vance County, NC on November 19, 1969, he was the son of William Hartwell "WH" Fuller and Vickie Fuller White. He was preceded in death by his father. Jody leaves behind to cherish his memory, wife, Cynthia Stephens; and daughter, Abigail Delaney Fuller of Rocky Mount. He is also survived by his mother, Vickie Fuller White of Henderson; brother, William Ashley Fuller of Burlington; and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Jody's life will be held on Monday, August 6, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Rev. C. J. Cauble officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM prior to the service in the Atrium of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Southside Baptist Church Building Fund, 4948 Carter Road, Elm City, NC 27822. It didn’t matter if he was picking you up or dropping you off at work.. he always greeted you with a kiss hello or a kiss goodbye. I thought it was the sweetest thing.   3. So sorry for your loss. Jody was a good friend of my son, Kevin and nephew, Jeff. I always enjoyed talking to him. He will be missed.

  4. One of my fondest memories was when we worked together at Roses. It was a cold, rainy evening and after closing I noticed I had a flat tire, and Joseph changed it for me. He even laid on the wet parking lot to try to find the best place to put the jack. He was such a good manfriend. He will be greatly missed.

  7. I am so sorry for your loss. I know he will be terribly missed. Its been years since I’ve seen him but he always would give me a smile and a good laugh. He just had a contagious personality. Praying for you all!
