Johnnie Ray Farmer Rocky Mount, NC - Johnnie Ray Farmer passed away Saturday April 10 2010. He was born April 27, 1944 to the late John T. Farmer and Maggie Williams Farmer. Johnnie served in the United States Army, in dutiful defense of his country. He found joy in spending time with his family especially his three year old grandson Landon. Johnnie is survived by his loving wife of 45 years Carol Farmer of Rocky Mount, Daughter Shannon and husband Jeff Handschumacher and grandson Landon David Handschumacher all of Raleigh; sisters: Joyce Wallace of Rocky Mount, NC, Shelby Jean Eason of Wilson ,NC, Donna Bowen of Orange Beach, FL, Ann Woolard and Gail Clark both of Washington, NC.
