  1. John grew up in a military family and had great respect for the military. Being the son of a great military veteran, john was proud. While he will be missed and John is a great loss to his wife, sons, parents and siblings, we know that heaven is rejoicing to receive John. John, I hope you enjoy the poem that your uncle Rufus wrote from his experience in his military career. 7. Death is our final step in our journey of life. Our loved ones share a great amount of grief, over the death of our love ones. It sometimes feels like more then we can bear. I find if we trust in the words of the Bible, it is of the greatest of comfort. Jehovah said he is near to those who are broken hearted, & those who are cushed in spirit.(Ps.3418) Jesus said I am the vine & my Father is the culvator.(John151) What a great gift we have been givin, to have the hope of seening our loved ones again.
