OUR CONDOLENCES TO MY COUSIN JOAN’S FAMILY, SHE WAS ONE WONDERFUL PERSON. CLETUS, JUDY RHINES MCCLELLAND RIDGWAY, PA
Ms. Joan is what I called her, she was one of the first prayer warriors I met when I joined Word Tabernacle Church. She was a John the Baptist the female example. We worked together and she prayerd for us the times that she didn’t go with us into the highways and hedges. I will truley miss her, I am praying for you Marcie for strength and courage. Peace, Joann Everette
I went to school with Joanie in Ridgway and we were good friends during those days. We both were active in Rainbow Girls and both went to nursing school and worked together on our first job at Elk County General Hospital. We would laugh and cry together with our patients and we both loved being nurses. I still actively work as a nurse. I am truly saddened at her passing. She was a good friend many yrs ago but life took us to different parts of the country and we lost track of each other. Her family and friends are in my thoughts and prayers. She was a great, kind and loving person. She will be missed. Barbara Warmbier Whitehouse
I have many memorries of Momma Joan it would not be fair to tell one and to leave another one out. The last time that I visited Miss Joan we talked, laughed and cried for a couple hours. She always knew how to dig up all those old emotions and feelings in me. She never pulled any punches and was a straight shooter, I just loved that about her. She was the true quintessential old school type of woman, friend and mother. I am a better person today for having known Joan and will miss her dearly. Frank Stead
