Tim and Lola, think of Doug coming to our home sharing his love, with green freash vegetables from his garden. He was a great true friend of Tim’s from a small age. Doug is in peace with God now, no more pain. We will miss Doug dearly, we have wonderful memories of good times. We will keep Scott. Libby and Stephen, in our prayers. We love you all, Tim & Lola

Dear Family, my thoughts and prayers are with you. I just found out about Doug’s passing and wish I could have been there to support all of you. I have fond memories of our family gatherings a long time ago. I remember seeing Doug at Belks and talking with him about the family. Uncle Marriott looked just like my dad, George, and Doug looked just like Uncle Marriott. I saw Doug at Kindred and talked with him although he didn’t know who I was, I knew who he was. He asked for a cup of coffee, said he was cold and I got one for him. My sister, Judy, is at Kindred. Carol, it has been a long time since I have seen you and here’s a hug for you. Doug has gone to a better place and he is there with the family and Jesus. Love to all, with deepest sympathy. Sandra Edwards Cary
As we make our journey throu this life, death is our final stop, The Bible gives us comfort in our time of grief. Even the perfect man, Jesus Christ, Gave way to tears. So greatly grieved was he over the death of his friend, Lazarous.(John1135) Jesus said I am the resurrection, & the life. (John1125) What a wonderful gift we have been givin, to have the hope of seening our loved ones once again.
