James “Jim” Arnold Hunt

James "Jim" Arnold Hunt, age 56, passed away on Monday, August 8, 2022. Jim was born in Ohio on June 29, 1966. He was preceded in death by his father, Arnold Hunt.
A man of great faith, Jim was a member of Fellowship Bible Church and loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He owned and operated Jim Hunt Construction, LLC. Prior to going into business for himself, Jim worked as an IT professional operating his own computer business in addition to managing rental properties. He cherished spending time with his wife and children. A loving son, devoted husband, father, brother, and friend, Jim will be missed by all who knew him.
Jim is survived by his wife, Sarah Rigsby Hunt; his children, Samantha Jackson and husband, R.J., Marley Hunt, and Blake Hunt; his mother, Dorothy Hunt; his sister, Sonia Burnett and husband, Curtis; and his niece, Jodi Burnett.
A Celebration of Jim's Life will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2022, at 11:00 AM at St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 301 S. Circle Drive, Rocky Mount, NC 27804 with Father George Greer officiating. A visitation with the family will be on Friday, August 12, 2022, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
