James D. Worsley

James D. (Jimmie) Worsley, Jr. February 07, 2010 James (Jimmie) D. Worsley, Jr. passed away on February 7, 2010 after a brief illness. He was born in Rocky Mount , NC on April 27, 1946 to J. Doak Worsley, Sr. and Nell M. Worsley. He resided in Glen Burnie , Md. In addition to being survived by his parents, he is survived by his wife Ruth, whom he married on August 22, 1970; sons Kevin Worsley of the home, and Dustin Worsley and wife, Chrissy, of Richmond , VA. He is also survived by his grandchildren Nicolas, Nathan, Amber and Cheyenne Worsley. He is also survived by his sister, Susan G. Worsley of Raleigh , NC ; mother and father-in-law Ruth and Walt Bougher, sister-in-laws Kathleen Bougher and Donna Cole, nieces and nephews,aunts and uncles,and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Wilbur and Margaret Worsley and Edward L.and Ila Mustian. Mr. Worsley graduated from Rocky Mount Senior High in 1964 and served in the U.S. Army from 1966-1970. He graduated from the University of Maryland , and continued working at Fort Meade , MD with the National Security Agency until the time of his death. The family will receive family and friends on Friday, February 12, 2010, at Englewood United Methodist Church , 300 S. Circle Dr., Rocky Mount, NC, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at the Church. Burial will take place in Oak City , NC after a family lunch at the church.
