Horace Randall “Randy” Mclawhorn

ROCKY MOUNT - Horace Randall "Randy" Mclawhorn, age 56, passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2017. Born in Nash County, NC on March 29, 1961, he was the son of the late Horace Mclawhorn and Elsie Mildred Lucas Mclawhorn. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Mclawhorn and sister, Rose Mulkey. Randy leaves behind to cherish his memory, daughters, Melissa Leigh Mclawhorn and fianc, Joseph Lee, of Kenly; Sarah Mclawhorn Williams of Goldrock; and Mary Elizabeth Mclawhorn of Nashville. He is also survived by grandchild, Antonio Williams; brother, Carlton Mclawhorn of VA; sister, Martha Johnson; and nephew, Daniel Mulkey. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM prior to the service in the Atrium of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home.
