Sherry and I were roommates for 3 years at Meredith. Have so many good memories of those times – visiting her family and her Enfield friends becoming my friends and Aunt Ruby’s peanuts! Hopefully your lifetime of memories will help carry you through this sad time and period of adjustment. Prayers for you all. Jean
How I loved Sherry Johnson! I became friends with her through volunteering as Membership Chair at the Chamber. She was always beautiful, always charming, and always carried herself with such grace. She was so proud to show pictures of her beautiful grandchildren and loved being a GiGi to them. Such a pillar in our community for years! Rest well, my friend.
When my mother Betsy was President of the Rocky Mount area chamber of commerce and got to work side by side with Sherry, I remember how often mom commented on what an amazing person and professional Sherry was. Sherry was the face of the chamber for a very long time and not all of it was during easy times but she carried on. To the family we send our condolences and prayers. She was a fine lady and will be missed by many.
Sherry will be remembered as a most attractive and capable woman. I was a schoolmate and was in classes with her for about seven years. My sympathy to those who loved her.
Such a beautiful lady! Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Love Diane Gupton Becton and family
we have fond memories of Shannon and her mother. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.
Sherry was a very special person. She will be missed!
Sherry was my friend and confidant for 15 years at the Chamber of Commerce in Rocky Mount. We had so many fun and rewarding experiences at work. Sherry was the upmost professional at her work and was always seeking to be the best at representing our community. I think of her often as the proud mother of her children and how she often spoke about what was going on in their lives. She was a giving person in so many ways. Love Alan
