In later years, she spent a lot of time at the Nash County Senior Center and playing cards with her friends. Her greatest love was her family and the many reunions that they had.

Her grandchildren are Angela Cohoon Stokes and husband Robbie, and Jessica Cohoon Daughtridge; great-granddaughter, Olivia Rose Daughtridge; step great-grandchildren, Mary Kathryne Stokes Baker and husband Michael and Noah Stokes and wife Rebecca. As we make our way on this journey of life, death is our final stop. We are over come with grief. Even the perfect man, Jesus Christ, Gave way to tears. So greartly greived was he over the death of his friend, Lazarous. (John 1135) Jesus said I am the resurrection & life. (John 1125) What a wonderful gift we have been givin, to have the hope of seening our loved ones once again.
